We start the bicycle tour by riding past some quiet villages in the rural area of Bali and witnessing local villagers do their daily activities.

Ride past countless small villages, plantations, scenic back-roads, jungle and off-road trails. Along the way, you can also see or visit various local plantations and local farmings (pigs, chickens, cows etc.)

The real adventure begins when we ride through an incredible 7.5 hectares of bamboo forest where you will also have a chance to see Balinese traditional bamboo craftsmen at work inside the forest.

Our next exclusive stopping point is a visit to the magical Traditional Village “PENGLIPURAN”, a very traditional village which has its own unique culture and way of life. Penglipuran village is a place of interest and outstanding beauty in Bali.

We continue the ride through another quiet countryside area of Bangli small town. Along the way we have many opportunities to witness the activity of local farmers, buffalo ranchs, rice paddies and other plantations. Continue the ride and enjoy the quiet countryside of Bali’s back roads and witness firsthand the daily life of rural rice farmers. We will also go on a short walk into rice paddies where you can experience firsthand what it is like to grow, harvest and process rice. You can also ask your guide to take you for a short walk around the rice paddies fields.

After several kilometers of riding, we will ride through a unique Subak water temple called Pura Taman. Here you can relax after the long ride and take some iconic pictures while enjoying your young coconut drink. You can also walk around this temple, enjoying the surroundings or take another pictures from another side of the temple.

Another stopping point on our way to finish lane, you will have opportunity to visit one of the most important temple in every village in Bali called DALEM temple. This temple is very sacred and located near the graveyard of our beloved village. You can enter the temple to see the inside and also taking photos in front of it’s old and artistic roofed gate.

On the way back to your accommodation, we will take you to a local restaurant where you will be served a magnificent luncheon with delicious Balinese/Indonesian meals available to choose.

Telaga Waja White Water Rafting in Bali

This was the highlight of our stay in Ubud. We were picked up precisely when they said they would. Our driver, Made, was excellent. We made 2 stops along the way including a coffee plantation. We travelled back down on bikes. Our terrific guide brought usnalong bamboo forest trails, quiet roads and paths. Very rarely did we use busy streets. Very interesting stops along the way. We loved it.

I highly recommend

A day I highly recommend to those who love a bike ride. It is not strenuous as it is 99% down hill. Komang and Deva our driver and cycling guide were magnificent as were the rest of the team. The work is a team effort and your dollar goes a long way when you book this tour. Don’t read too much about it, leave something to surprise and be assured you won’t be disappointed if you have the heart for adventure and intrigue.

A Great day with many highlights.

A Great day with many highlights. The guide picked us up perfectly on time. He spoke very good Englisch and was so funny. However, you should know that the actual cycling is only 22 Km, and for the vast majority downhill. The landscape ranges from rice terraces over mysterious bamboo forests to beautiful rural villages and is incredible. All in all definitely a recommendation due to the beautiful views and the staff which tries everything to enable a great experience.
